Donald Lee Richeson, Jr. of Winchester passed away at home on Nov. 4, 2024 at the age of 62 after an extensive battle with cancer.

Donnie was born in Nashville on Feb. 6, 1962 to the late Mildred McCullough Shasteen and Donald Lee Richeson, Sr. He was a 1980 graduate of Moore County High School, and later worked as an account manager for B&D Industrial where he enjoyed his relationships with his co-workers and clients. Donnie loved football, and was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He traveled to many games over the years to see his favorite team play. In addition to the Crimson Tide, Donnie loved his family, and was a devoted uncle to his niece and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark Harrell, and his step-father, Donald “Corky” Shasteen. He is survived by his sister, Lisa Richeson Harrell; niece, Shelby Harrell; nephews, Samuel (Hannah) Harrell, and Seth Harrell; and great-niece, Ruthie Ann Harrell.

Visitation for Donnie will be held on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Kilgore Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel.
