Cecil Leo Davidson Obituary

Cecil Leo Davidson, 76, of Tullahoma passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, at Vanderbilt-Tullahoma Hospital.

Born in Haley, TN, he was the son of the late Jesse Squire and Ruth Rippy Davidson.

Cecil leaves behind his soul mate, best friend and loving companion of 45 years, Dr. Phyllis D. Adams; three children, Dr. JaCenda D. (Chris) Robinson, Taja D. Davidson, and Gerald L. Davidson; four grandchildren, Devan D. Hawley, Azaria T. Robinson, Christopher D. Bean, Tajaya D. Bean; one special adopted granddaughter, Jasmine A. Coleman; two great-grandchildren, Lilliyanna French Hawley and Mecca Bean; two brothers, Jerry (Carolyn) Davidson, Johnny (Vicky) Davidson; three sisters, Lovie Mitchell, Louise Wellington and Theresa (Samuel) Northcutt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ruth Davidson; three sisters Alberta Woodard, Willie Nett Sims and Bettye Noon and one brother, James Davidson.

Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Tullahoma; shortly followed by a Masonic Service at 12:30 p.m. and Homegoing Service at 1 p.m. officiated by Dr. Darwin L. Mason, Jr. (Senior Minister, Hillsboro Church of Christ, Nashville, TN) with Reverend Dr. Elmore Torbert, Jr. (Pastor, St. Timothy Missionary Baptist Church, Cleveland, OH) as Eulogist.
