Ella Dean Bratcher-Burt, of Winchester, passed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System at the age of 86.

Mrs. Bratcher-Burt was born in Old Hickory to the late George W. and Eula Dean Broadrick Edwards. During her life she worked as a secretary to Sverdrup and was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma. Mrs. Bratcher-Burt currently attended and was a member of Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Kate Bratcher; two brothers, Elroy Edwards and James R. Edwards, Sr.; and one sister, Sara Regions Ferrell.

She is survived by her husband, David Burt; one daughter, Brenda Bratcher Ball and her husband Steve; one son, James D. “Jim” Bratcher, Jr. and his wife Jennifer; four grandchildren, James D. “Jimmy” Bratcher III and his wife Krysten, Wesley Pless and his wife Jill, Diana Bratcher Murray and her husband Todd, and Corey Pless and his wife Ginny; great-grandchildren, Mason, Katelyn, Jacy Kate, Makayla, Olivia, Everett, Porter, Baker, and Dawson; step-daughter, Cindy Campbell and her husband Monte; step-son, Phil Burt and his wife Cindy; step-grandchildren, Rusty Burt and his wife Crystle, Rochelle Blair and her husband Josh, Daniel Burt and his wife Kelly, and Miller and Marlee Unzicker; and step-great-grandchildren, Miles, Max, Mikayle, Joslin, and Rylie.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 2 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with the funeral service to immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Dr. Joe Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Tullahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the Multi-County Cancer Support Network, The Tullahoma Sports Council, or the Dusty Elam Foundation.
