It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donnie Wayne Long, a 60 year-old twin brother, uncle, and friend to those who knew him most. He passed in his hometown of Franklin County on Jan. 11, 2025, and went on to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Donnie was born on March 24, 1964, in Winchester, and is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Roggli Long Bean and father, Harold Douglas Long.

Donnie’s life will be celebrated on at Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home in Winchester with Ray Gardner, officiating. Donnie’s final resting place will be at Green Cemetery in Belvidere, Tenn., with David Amonette, Eddie Jones, Ray Winger, Jody Miller, Tracy Hayworth and Johnny Bruce all serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Clark and Steve Medley

Watson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
