Larry Nathaniel Horsley Obituary
Larry Nathaniel Horsley, 77, of Tullahoma passed away on Jan. 27, 2025. He was born in Owensboro KY to Loethaniel “LT” Horsley and Alice Duggin. He is survived by his son, Jason Horsley, and his granddaughter, Kaitlin Horsley. He is also survived by Roxanne Horsley; his bonus children, William Cary (Amanda) Richard, Michelle (Adam) Baker; his bonus grandchildren; Jacob (Kallie) Baker, Courtney Baker, Natalie Richard, Naiya Quinlan and Cruz Caldwell. He also leaves behind two sweet cats, Elaine and Abby.
Larry served in the United States Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. After his military career, he spent 30 years working as a Road Master for the Railroad. Never one to slow down, he went on to work for Stan McNabb driving cars in his retirement. He was a faithful member of Raysville Baptist Church in Lynchburg and found the best community of friends there. His family will remember him for his love of hot rods and restoring classic cars. Our favorites were the 69’ Camaro, the 57’ Bel Air and a 65’ Pontiac GTO. His grandchildren lovingly called him Papaw and will always remember him taking them for rides in old cars, cheering them on at baseball games, watching scary movies and making mint chocolate chip milk shakes. Larry could usually be found at a car show, grilling, tinkering in the garage listening to music and spending time with his family.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025 at Tullahoma Funeral Home with burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Tullahoma Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
