Paul Stephen Holt, 64, of Decherd, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on Sept. 3, 1960, Steve was the son of the late Drexal Holt and his surviving mother, Emma Holt. He dedicated 50 years of his life as a butcher, working at various locations throughout Franklin County, including Holt’s Supermarket and Bate’s Foods.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with LZ Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Lloyd Rogers, Cody Rogers, Jose Pacheco, Dylan Holt, Dalton Holt, Adam Holt, Randy Kelly, Jason Argo, and Presten Holt serving as pallbearers.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
