Roger Alan Penn of Shelbyville passed from this life on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at his residence at the age of 61 years.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, he is the son of the late Alan Roy and Doris Hanley Penn. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Penn.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 5, 2025, from the chapel of Lynchburg Funeral Home with Ken Keller officiating. Burial followed at Smith’s Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Penn was employed by Byrom’s Body Shop in Tullahoma.

He is married to Jennifer Crews Penn of Shelbyville; Tennessee and she survives him. Other survivors include his children, Derek Alan (Shanna) Millsaps of Lynchburg, Tennessee, Justin Tyler (Paige) Millsaps of Tullahoma, Tennessee, William Dale Penn of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Alison Marie (Christopher) Nix of Lynchburg, Tennessee, brother, Michael (Rena) Penn, sisters, Linda (Danny) Bobo of Lynchburg, Tennessee. Tina (Troy) Rogers of Tullahoma, Tennessee, 6 grandchildren, Scarlett, Cora, Ellie, and Nolan Nix, and Hudson and Noah Byrd.
