Marcene Amelang, 99, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Tullahoma.  She was born in Ottumwa, IA to the late Frank and Maisy Eaton.  In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Amelang, brothers, Ted, Dell and Max Eaton, and sister, Rowena Purvis.

Marcene was a long time member of First Christian Church, a member of the choir and the Sonrise Singers at the Church, also she loved to golf, square dance and line dancing.

She is survived by her daughter, JoLynn Amelang, son, Jerry Amelang (Susan), grandchildren, David Summers, Amanda Harper (Chris), James Forrest, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at First Christian Church in Tullahoma.  Visitation with the family will be held from 1 p.m. until service time on Tuesday at the Church.  Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
