Wayne Ferrell Smith Sr. passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at his residence at the age of 81.  He was born in Coffee County to the late Alford and Idell Ferrell Smith.  In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by sisters, Marie Smith, Imogene Wiggs, Nina Holden, Judy Brown, and brothers, Robert Smith, A.C. Smith

Wayne retired from the Wilson Golf Plant in Tullahoma, worked at Tullahoma Funeral Home and Pastored in the Tullahoma area for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Jewell Smith, children, Wayne Smith Jr. (Erin), Mona Wilhoit (Will),  sister, Willizene Kilgore, grandchildren, Shanni (Brandon), Jessica (Brandon), Katie, Julie (Ben), great grandchildren, Genevieve, Elizabeth, Allison, Bastian, April and Sophie.

Funeral Services were conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Tullahoma Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family was Friday, June 13, 2025 at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Concord Cemetery.

Tullahoma Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
