Barbara Cheryl Miller of Tullahoma passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 78.

Cheryl was born in Chattanooga to the late William Richard and Grace Geraldine Cain Orrell. During her life, Cheryl was a member of First Methodist Church of Tullahoma and worked as a Loan Officer at American City Bank (Later, First Bank), but her most important job was that of a devoted and protective Wife, Mother, and YaYa. She loved supporting her children and grandchildren in all of their activities throughout the years. She will be remembered by those who loved her for her strong beliefs and convictions, and unwavering belief in always doing what was right, even when it was hard. She was a woman of great integrity who always stood up for the underdog. Cheryl loved reading, being out in nature among the flowers, and animals- particularly dogs and birds. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jim Miller; one niece, Britt Bass; her mother and father-in-law, Edward and Wanda Miller; and one brother-in-law, Franklin Miller.

She is survived her son, Jeff Miller (Ann); daughter, Jennifer Bratcher (Jim); two grandchildren, Miller and Marlee Unzicker; two sisters, Andrea Stoner (Tom), and Donna Durham; one brother-in-law, Lindsey Miller (Betsy); nieces and nephews, Jason Stoner, India Tankersley, Ricky Durham, Bobby Massey, Lee Miller (Jessica), and Lindy Miller; and many cherished great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 24 at Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Jennifer Ray officiating. Burial followed Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. For those who wish the family asks that donations in Cheryl’s memory be made to either the Coffee County Humane Society- 156 Freedom Dr. Manchester, TN 37355; or the Tullahoma Sports Council, P.O. Box 1914 Tullahoma, TN 37388.
