Johnny Wayne Walls, 73, of Decherd, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025, at St. Thomas Rutherford Medical Center. A native of Franklin County, he was born on Oct. 10, 1951, to the late Grady Leon Walls and Ruby V. Craig. 

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Michael Clark officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
