Cody Wayne Reed, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025 at the age of 26. Cody was born in Tullahoma to Gary Wayne Reed and Elnora Bell Irene Watson.

He was currently serving in the United States Navy as an Air Crew Member. He was preceded by his grandmother, Martha Watson.

Cody is survived by his parents, Elnora Watson and Gary Wayne Reed; grandmother, Hazel Bush; grandfather, Billy Watson; his fiancée, Trinity Stafford; three brothers, Gage Throneberry, Joe Gifford, and Jared Acklen; sisters-in-law, Kandice Hodge and Hailey Acklen; his future parents-in-law, Johnathan and Katie Englund; and future brothers-in-law, Kevin, Tyler, Trenton, Tripp, Trace, and Dylan.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 18, 2025 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. with the funeral to immediately follow at 2 p.m. Burial with full military honors will follow at Crowells Chapel Cemetery in Shelbyville.
