Joseph A. Payne, 83, of Cowan, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Bradford, Pennsylvania, on July 18, 1942, to the late Ralph H. and Ada M. (Drage) Payne.

.  Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, at Watson Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will follow at 5 p.m. in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery.

Watson Funeral Home and Memorial Park is in charge of arrangements.
