Ariel McGee Vaughn, 34, of Tullahoma passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13 while carrying her 7-month-old son, Keil. She was born on May 31, 1991 in Tullahoma the late Arthur Ward II and Sernobia McGee, who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded by her husband, Kortez Vaughn, Sr.; grandparents, Arthur Ward, Sr., Sterling, Sr. and Sallie McGee; uncles, Ronnie McGee, Sr., and Sterling McGee, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Kortez, Jr. and Karmella Vaughn; mother, Sernobia McGee; sisters, Alexandria “Lexie” McGee, Ariel Walton, Kaitlyn McKnight, Bre Hathaway, Zhane Thomas, Desiree, Brynetia Rodriguez and Arierion Ward; brother, Tylon; grandmother, Alice (Richard) Rowe; aunts, Annette McGee Veals, Debbie (Vincent) Cooley, Lydia Tabbs, Phyllis Tabbs, Kadaya Lyles, Toi Brown, Vickie McGee, and Doris McGee; uncles, Michael McGee, Ronny Ward, and Sumner Rowe; special nieces and nephews, Jariah McGee, Ky’Onnie Wigfall, Jeremiah (Sara) McGee, and Jace McGee; great niece, Tahlia-Faye McGee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 11 a.m. to noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Tullahoma with Funeral Services following at noon with Pastor Ramon Wyatt, officiating and Rev. Dr. Elmore Torbert, Jr., eulogist. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Online Condolences may be shared at www.weltonfuneralhome.
