Riley Maurice Carter, age 95, of Manchester, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, surrounded by his children in Nashville, TN.

Mrs. Brenda Kay Daniel, age 77, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Born May 19, 1949 in Tullahoma, Tennessee to the late William Horace and Mamie Ruth Fulton.

Mary Jane Smith of Tullahoma passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Brookdale Senior Living at the age of 90. Mrs. Smith was born in Lynchburg to the late Fred and Jennie Bell Mullins. During her life, Jane worked as a clerk at the Coca-Cola Store, and was a longtime member of Grundy Street Church of Christ. She was passionate about health-conscious cooking and maintaining an active lifestyle, and taught exercise classes for many years at the Tullahoma Senior Citizens Center. Mrs. Smith had been a resident of Brookdale for the past several years, and enjoyed attending the church services there with the church of Christ at Cedar Lane. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Smith; one sister, Donna Watkins (Jim); and one brother, Charles Mullins (Mary Ann). She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Dahl (James); one niece, Jennifer Ferrell (Avery); nephews, Jerame Watkins and Fred Mullins (Diane); great-niece, Jaelyn Woodward (Tyler); great-nephew, Jadin Watkins; and great-greatnephew, Braxtan Lee Woodard. A graveside service for Mrs. Smith will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 12 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Tullahoma.

Colton James Thomas of Tullahoma passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at the age of 11.

Mary Elizabeth Turner, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 82. Mrs. Turner was born in Estill Springs to the late Thomas Lloyd Ingleburger and Dimple Mae Carroll Ingleburger. She was a long-time member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church in Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Davis Pratt, Henrietta Arnold, and Dorothy Lowhorn; one brother, Lloyd Ingleburger; her daughter-in-law, Debra Turner; and her son-inlaw, Stanley Downs. She is survived by her husband of nearly 68 years, Malcom Turner; her son, Stan Turner; her daughter, Gretchen Downs; three grandchildren, Jessica Downs and her wife Kelsey, Katie Turner, and ____ ___________ ______ ______ ____ ____ ______ ____ ____ _ - _____ ______ _______ ____ _____________________ _______ Hudson, Gracelynn, Blakelynn, and Harper; and one sister, Barbara Stone. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Kilgore Funeral _____ _______ _____ _____ ____ _______ ___________ _______ will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Phyllis (Phyl) Anne Martin Birdsong, age 72, laid to rest on Tuesday, August 26th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born December 14th, 1953, she was born in Sewanee, Tennessee to the late Halson W. Martin and Mildred J. Martin. Phyl was known for her strong will, kindness, love for all things owl, and an even bigger love for her family.

Robert Taylor Brasier, of | Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, August 17th, 2026 at his home at the age of 91. Mr. Brasier was born in Dallas, TX to the late W.E. (Earl) and Mamie Bell Brown Brasier. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for 21 years, attaining the rank of Technical Sergeant before his retirement. He then went on to work for Cubic Precision and for Stan Mc-Nabb. Mr. Brasier was also a member of First Methodist Church in Tullahoma. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, J.W. Brasier; and one sister, Pat Moulder. Mr. Brasier is survived by his wife, Martha Darden Brasier; two daughters, Julie (Joe) Brasier and Janie (Paul) Crabtree; one sister, Grace Lynch; and many nieces and nephews.

Nan Hatheway, age 67, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on August 31, 1958, Nan was the firstborn of a set of | twins, beginning a life that would be filled with love, family, and meaningful connections. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Suzanne McBride, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, August 10, 2026 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital at the age of 58.
