Tullahoma Kiwanis Kraft Show Nov. 21-22

The Tullahoma Kiwanis’ annual Kiwanis Kraft Show is set to take place the weekend of Nov. 21 and 22.  The show will be packed with handmade crafts and gifts perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

The two-day event will display unique handcrafted trades from craftsmen from Southern Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas.  Craft items that may be showcased include jewelry, leather products, clothing articles, quilts, handbags and other items.  Booths may also have canned goods, homemade baked goods, and candy.

The craft show will take place in the Tullahoma First Methodist Church Family Activity Center, located at 210 W. Lauderdale St. in Tullahoma.  Doors open at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 and close at 5 p.m. that night, and will reopen at 9 a.m. Saturday morning, Nov 22.  The show will close down around 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

There are still a few slots available for vendors.  For more information contact Bob Barksdale, Tullahoma Kiwanis Craft Show Chairperson at kiwaniskraftshow@gmail.com or call/text him at 931-581-3683.

All proceeds from booth space rentals and snack bar sales from this event go toward funding the Kiwanis mission of helping children and children related activities in the Tullahoma area.

The mission of the Tullahoma Kiwanis Club and that of Kiwanis International is to improve the world one child and one community at a time.

The club will volunteer this Christmas to ring Salvation Army bells at Hobby Lobby on Dec. 13th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The club is also making plans to partner with Tullahoma High School MCJROTC Battalion and McAlister’s to raise funds for Toys for Tots on December 9th from 4 pm to 8pm.  We are inviting Tullahoma residents to join us in collecting new unwrapped gifts to be donated.  In addition, 10 percent of all sales will be donated to the Toys for Tots program.

Tullahoma Kiwanis is always looking to have new members join the club that have a desire to help and serve children in the Tullahoma area.  If you are interested in helping children reach their potential and participating in community activities, come join us at our meetings.  We meet at Grace Baptist Church at 1901 Ovoca Road in Tullahoma from 6 to 7 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday evening of each month.  For more information about the Tullahoma Kiwanis Club reach out to Bob Barksdale at 931-581-3683 or Charla Graves at 931-409-2527.
