A job well done

I want to thank the Tullahoma Police Department. I had been robbed! I had been cutting fire wood all day, and when I got home, I noticed the missing things. My gas operated electric generator, the 10,000-volt A. Power, and my Husqvarna back pack leaf blower. I gathered info and went to the police station where they filled out a report. Feeling violated and lost, I went home.

The next morning, Investigator Michael Wilder showed up. He looked at the empty spots on my porch, and I showed him pictures of the things that used to be there. I told him that I had walked around but did not find much. Then the Detective started looking. I followed along behind him and was amazed at the things he found. Starting with the trail that the thief had taken.

Where he had stopped and rested. The Detective found several items of interest that I will not mention in hopes that it is used in court. But I was very impressed. Investigator Wilder gathered stuff up and left. About four hours later he came back, “Let’s go get your generator.”

The thieves had hidden my generator on the far side of the corn field, and covered it with a tarp. I got my generator back. Apparently, several people who lived around the corn field had been robbed. With the evidence they found, I think it is only a matter of time until the thieves are put away.

A week later I got my leaf blower back. Thanks to your swift work and success, I don’t feel violated anymore! P.S. Following Investigator Wilder was like watching NCIS.

Thanks again.
