Herman Ed Crabtree, 90, of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, at Elk River Nursing Center in Winchester. Ed was born on Aug. 17, 1935, in Winchester, to the late Herman and Polly (Hawkersmith) Crabtree. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, from 1–3 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 3 p.m. from the chapel with Bro. Johnny Bradford, officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens with grandsons and great-grandson as pallbearers. 

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
