Welcome Wagon – Tullahoma salutes new businesses

During August, 18 business licenses were issued by City Hall to new Tullahoma Businesses. Five are spotlighted here.

Little’s Place

This new, small and cute restaurant is located at 700 South Anderson Street and owned with husband and wife team Louie and Kitty Asanon. After working in Chicago restaurants, the couple moved south near where Kitty is from to be closer to family. True to their work background, the couple serves Chicago style hotdogs, Polish and Italian sausage, Italian beef and Chicago tamales. They are open Monday thru Friday 10am to 6pm.

B and B Mercantile

Right down the street at 322 South Anderson is family owned B and B Mercantile. Kim Hammond, her daughter Fallon Hasselblad and Fallon’s husband John offer a full line of herbal products. Both Kim and Fallon have herbal certifications. Their extensive product line includes herbal teas, bee pollen, all natural protein, plant based vitamins, all natural soaps and Lion’s Mane and similar mushrooms. Hours are 9am to 6pm Tuesday thru Saturday.

Music City Motors

Tullahoma is now home to the second Music City Motors. Located at 800 East Lincoln Street, Music City Motors both services and sells vehicles. The original Music City Motors is located in Nashville with more planned for the region. According to the staff, their goal is to keep drivers safe with their vehicle repairs and get them back on the road as soon as possible with the best price possible. They offer complete mechanical services and repair, oil changes, brake service and engine and transmission service. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday thru Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Roots and Wings

Roots and Wings is a welcoming language school in Tullahoma that nurtures both language growth and community. Owner and instructor, Ashley Nutt, swaps traditional grammar drills for vibrant, laughter-filled classes rich in real world conversation, creativity and enthusiasm. Java Hut

Tullahoma’s newest location to serve fine coffees is Java Hut located at 301 East Carroll Street. Co-owners Haley Vandeford and Amanda Clark started Java Hut in Decherd 13 years ago. This is their second drive thru location. Their slogan is “Community through Coffee”. Java Hut offers an extensive coffee menu as well as cold press juices, acai bowls, espresso drinks, lattes, energy refreshers, pastries and their specialty frappes. Their signature dessert, created by their own pastry chef, are homemade pop tarts. They employ 15 baristas and staff. They are open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
