The Event Nook will be hosting an adult prom Sept. 27 from 7 to 11 p.m.  The adult prom is for adults 30 and over and will be held at The Event Nook, 1940 N. Jackson Street, Tullahoma.

Tickets go on sale now through Sept. 10, according to Event Nook owner Patrice Newbill.  Cost is $25 per person or $40 for a couple.  City Sandwich is providing food for the event and each prom attendee will receive two drink tickets. There will be a DJ, professional photographer with a photo booth, a red carpet to greet prom attendees and balloon décor.  ECK Jewelry will be present with jewelry items to purchase.

The capacity is 100 people.

Newbill said there is no theme but she encourages folks to attend and “sparkle and shine”.

“The adult prom gives adults something fun to do and have a great time.  Some people did not have an opportunity to attend their high school prom, and for others this is a chance for a do-over,” said Newbill.

According to Newbill, the response to her social media posts has been overwhelming.  She offered she didn’t think people would be so excited about the adult prom, but they are.
