Those in the community that want to recognize young professionals in the area have time to submit their nominations for the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce’s fifth annual “40 Under 40: Recognizing Young Professionals” event.

The chamber is asking residents to submit nominations to recognize and highlight the significant accomplishments made by young professionals aged 40 and under in the Tullahoma and surrounding area. Anyone wishing to submit their nomination are asked to fill out a Google form, which can be filled out here. Chamber officials stated submitted nominations will be summarized and read aloud at the event.

“The number of nominations per nominee will not be a determining factor during the honoree selection made by the committee,” officials said.

The 40 nominees will be recognized at the annual award and social event on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Lakewood Gold & Country Club at 1900 Country Club Lane in Tullahoma. The chamber opened up nominations on Wednesday, July 23, and deadline to submit nominations is set for Thursday, Aug. 14 at midnight. Admission to the event is $30 per person.

The sponsors for “40 under 40” include title sponsor Coffee County Bank, honoree sponsor Traders Bank, award sponsor Woodard’s Diamonds & Design and beverage sponsor Jack Daniel’s Visitor Center.
