The real No Kings rally

The real No Kings rally was Saturday’s parade in Washington DC, celebrating the 250 year birthday of the Continental Army.  Formed on June 14, 1775 by a resolution passed by the Second Continental Congress after the April 19th Battle of Lexington and Concord – the start of the Revolutionary War.

Colonial Americans outside of Boston stood up to King George III. The British Redcoats came for their guns and cannons. American patriots did what American patriots do — they shot them.

Last Saturday in DC was a celebration of the founding of the US Army. In 1775, a ragtag group of Americans took on the world’s superpower, fought a 6 year war and won our Independence.

For the Democrats to claim the day as No Kings day is laughable. Democrats are generally anti-gun and anti-military. Their leftist ideas have little connection to the profound principles of our founding. Democrats welcome lawlessness, riots, looting and they opened our border to foreign invasion. Republicans, on the other hand, will fight to defend our citizens, our Constitution and our homeland.
