Kim P. Smith, 65, of Winchester passed away at her home on Thursday, April 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a most courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Kim was born on Feb. 17, 1960, in Winchester, to James Edward VanBlaricum and Virginia Faye Lightfoot Powell.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Tunnel to Towers Foundation; 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 or St. Jude Children’s Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
