One of the players from the 2023-2024 state championship Wildcat baseball team, Mason Bratcher, inked a deal with Lee University, to continue his playing career at the collegiate level.

“Mason brings leadership and confidence to the team. He is a solid defender, competitive hitter, and he’s a shutdown arm on the mound,” head coach of Tullahoma baseball Bryan Morris said regarding what Bratcher brings to his team as a player.

The all-around player, Bratcher, will lace up his cleats one more time this year, as the Wildcats look to defend their state title. The Wildcats’ championship run last year was their first state title in over 30 years, with their last win coming in 1990.

Bratcher brings a lot of things to the Tullahoma ball club, and Coach Morris will miss it come the end of their season later this year.

“I will miss his grit and competitiveness more than anything when he is gone,” said Morris.
