Donald T. Young Peacefully passed away at the age of 77 on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Don was born on Jan. 13, 1947 to the late Harold and Lorretta Dawd Young. He was one of the five children. He is survived by his identical twin brother Ronald G. Young.

Don was a graduate of Oswego High School and the New York State University as Canto, NY. He proudly server in the United States Air Force for four years. He began his career as a Senior Design Engineer associate with Carrier Corporation Syracuse, NY and retired from Carrier in McMinnville in 2015.

He leaves behind his significant loved one of 31 years Maureen “Mitzi” McHale, his brother Ron Young of Tullahoma, his daughter Krista Dupre, three grandchildren Charles, Larissa, and Javon Dupre and one great-grandchild Malani Dupre, are residing in Nolensville, TX. Don leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Don enjoyed walking, golfing, casino trips and socializing with friends. He was the Walking Champion of Tullahoma several years in a row. He was very proud of this accomplishment. He was a dog whisperer. He never met a dog that didn’t love him. He loved his dear sweet Isabella, Maggie, & Lucy.

Don was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a great neighbor and a wonderful friend.

He will have a Spring Funeral in Oswego, NY.
