Sarah Elizabeth Nelius marries Clayton McAdoo Greer

Sarah Elizabeth Nelius and Clayton McAdoo Greer were married Sept. 14 at First Christian Church in Tullahoma.

The bride is the daughter of Andy and Sharon Nelius of Tullahoma. She is the granddaughter of Arlis and the late Sarah Johnson, and Joan and the late Marty Nelius all of Tullahoma. Sarah Beth received her bachelor’s degree in communications, majoring in public relations and minoring in business, from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2015. She is a 2011 graduate of Tullahoma High School.

Sarah Beth works in the corporate financial sector for US Bank as an experience designer. She also is a fitness instructor for Druid Hills Golf Club and LifeTime Country Club in Atlanta.

She is the vice president of the UT Atlanta Alumni Chapter board of directors. The groom is the son of Steve Beth Greer of Paris, Tenn. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee M. Greer Jr. and the late Nana Cooper, all of Paris, and the late Thomas Montgomery of Florence, Ala.

Clayton earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UT Knoxville in 2015, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017. He is a 2011 graduate of Henry County High School. He works as an engineer at GE Vernova in Atlanta. The couple resides in Atlanta, Ga.
