The Tullahoma High School cross country teams competed in the TSSAA Cross Country Region 4 Class A-AA meet Tuesday and the Lady ‘Cats finished second as a team.

The second place finish will send the girls to State for their fourth consecutive trip. Three members of the team finished in the top 10: Brindley Duncan at 2, Katie Grace Nichols at 4, and Julianna Ites at 9. Duncan finished with a time of 21 minutes and 1 second. Nichols time was 12:29 and Ites finished in 22:14.

The other times for the Lady Wildcats were: Audrey Sohrabi with 25:01, Bella Rivera with 28:03, Lexi Lester with 31:38, and Addie Colvin with 33:24.

The boys’ teams finished in fifth at 143 points, the fourth place team had 130 points. Only the top four teams go to State, so the Wildcats came up just short of making it.
