What is Fascism?
From the Mirriam-Webster Dictionary:
Fascism – a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader [think Hitler and Mussolini], and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition.
Marxism/Communism – a theory and practice of socialism including the labor theory of value, dialectical materialism, the class struggle, and dictatorship of the proletariat [i.e., the workers or working class people] until the establishment of a classless society.
These two categories are from the opposite ends of the philosophical spectrum. One cannot legitimately be both at the same time. To call someone a fascist and a Marxist/communist in the same sentence, as Mr. Trump has done repeatedly, is nonsense and shows that the speaker simply does not know (or care) what he is saying.
Calling Mr. Trump a fascist (as did Gens. Kelly and Milley, and VP Harris) fits the above definition perfectly.
Words DO have meanings and our leaders should use them correctly!
