The Coffee County Republican Party conducted a caucus on Thursday, Sept. 5 and selected the following candidates for the four open seats for the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election ballot: Benton Brown for County Commission District 2, Sammy Anderson for County Commission District 6, Chris Koon for County School Board, Seat 2 (Districts 2-6-7) and Alex Robertson for County Constable, Seat 1 (Districts 1-3-4).

Six of the county’s nine districts are impacted. These seats were open because of the recent resignations of Commissioner Dennis Hunt, Commissioner Joey Hobbs, School Board member Brent Parsley and Constable William Carden. The caucus was held at the Community Room of the Coffee County Administrative Plaza.
