Larry H. Cruise Obituary

Larry H. Cruise, a native of Tullahoma and graduate of Tullahoma High School, made the transition to Heaven on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, while in Hospice care at Sumner Regional Medical Center.

Larry was a retired PGA Professional who began his PGA journey at Arnold Air Force Base Golf Club in Tullahoma, and ultimately finished his golf career finishing as the Director of Golf at Cole Park Golf Course, home of the 101st Airborne, at Ft. Campbell, Ky.

His career in golf spanned many awards and recognitions for advancing the game of golf at every course and community he served.

He was heavily invested in a wide range of Christian mission projects to reach hunters and anglers, and co-hosted the television show, “Me & Dad”, a faith-based hunting show that aired on DirecTV.

Larry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather to the very end.

Most importantly, he was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Cruise, his son, Jason, daughter-in-law, Michelle, and his grandsons, Cole and Tucker Cruise.

Burial will be held in a private graveside service for the family.

A Celebration of Life service, led by Dr. Jason Cruise, will be held for any and all friends and family at 3pm on Sunday, Sept. 1 at ClearView Baptist Church, Franklin, in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that any charitable gifts be donated to the ministry budget of ClearView Baptist Church online www.ClearView.org/give.
