Carolyn Blanche Neel of Tullahoma passed away on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 at Brookdale of Tullahoma at the age of 84. Mrs. Neel was born in Indianola, Mississippi to the late Liston and Elizabeth Ratliff Hughes. During her life, she and her beloved husband Charlie were the owners of Piggy’s Place BBQ, and were devoted members of King’s Cross Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neel was greeted in Heaven by her husband, Charlie Neel; her son, Mark Neel; and one sister, Rita Randall. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Tankersley (Gary); daughter in law, Stacey Neel; nine grandchildren, Leslie Hawkins (Jimmy), Carly Rae Shelton (Josh), McKenzie Conway (Colin), Colton Neel (Sara Grace), Madison Nicely (Seth), Joshua Cole, Justin Cole, Justin Tankersley (Michal), and Quintin Tankersley; and ten great-grandchildren, Addison, James, Keziah, Kellan, Dane, Sophia, Ziva, Madilyn, Hughes and Aspen.

Visitation for Mrs. Neel will be held on Sunday, July 14 from 1 – 3 p.m. at King’s Cross Church. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Pastors Scott Claybrook and Phillip Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
