The Duck and the Tullahoma News are combining to host a candidate forum on Wednesday, July 10, the event to include candidates for Tullahoma city mayor and aldermen.

The forum will be held on July 10 at Tullahoma High School at 6 p.m. and will be moderated by popular radio personality Lucky Knott. All candidates on the ballot are invited to participate and the public is urged to attend the free event in person at the high school auditorium.

The questions will be compiled by the news organizations ahead of the forum. As is normal protocol, the candidates will be given a chance for an opening statement and a closing statement. In between, the candidates will be asked questions with each candidate getting a chance to give their opinion on the question within the given time frame.

The forum will be broadcast live on 93.9 the Duck and the Tullahoma News will publish stories on the event in their subsequent issues. The News also plans to video the forum and present it on its website.

Early voting is July 12 through July 27 and the election is Aug. 1.
