Special Olympics reset for Thursday

The Special Olympics Area 13 Lower Cumberland Region has reset the games for Thursday, May 16, at Wilkins Stadium, located at 927 N Jackson St, Tullahoma. The change comes due to rain that washed out the original dates.

The Spring Games, a celebration of sportsmanship, determination, and community, will kick off with the grand Opening Ceremonies promptly at 9:30 a.m. Athletes, volunteers, families, and supporters will gather to witness the inspiring commencement of this joyous occasion.

Throughout the day, participants will engage in a variety of events and activities, showcasing their talents and dedication. From thrilling competitions to heartwarming camaraderie, the Spring Games promise a memorable experience for all involved.

The festivities will draw to a close around 2 p.m. concluding a day filled with unforgettable moments and cherished memories.
