Two Coffee County students make top 10 in SC Johnson Professional’s Happy Hands contest

Two Coffee County Central High School students have made the top 10 finalists for the SC Johnson Professional’s Happy Hands contest.

SC Johnson Professional, a total solutions provider for industrial, institutional and healthcare users, today kicked off the voting period for its annual Happy Hands dispenser design contest. The contest highlights the importance of hand hygiene and invites students to submit soap/sanitizer dispenser artwork. This year, 140 schools participated in the contest, and the Top 10 designs are now available on the Happy Hands website to view and vote on until Feb. 29.

“Preventing the spread of germs through proper hand hygiene is critically important, and how students communicate this through art never ceases to amaze us,” said Bryant Davis, vice president and general manager of North America, SC Johnson Professional. “Students’ creative designs made it extremely difficult for us to select just 10 finalists, but we are encouraged by the overall participation.”

The two contest categories include elementary, grades K-5; and middle/high school, grades 6-12. The winners from each category will each receive a $1,000 donation to their school, a $300 gift card, and up to 1,000 1-liter manual soap/sanitizer dispensers featuring the student’s winning design for their school district.
