Cherry Lynn Condra Ralston, 57, of Chapel Hill died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024. Born in Manchester, Mrs. Ralston was a daughter of James Arthur Condra and the late Sidney Arthur Lewis Ralston. Cherry earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Tennessee Technical University and her Master’s Degree in History from Middle Tennessee State University. She was a true Renaissance woman with many interests. She thoroughly enjoyed photography, geology, karate, music, the guitar, writing and was a genuine history buff. She was a former director of the Tennessee Backgrounds Heritage.

Survived by her husband of 25 years, James Ralston of Chapel Hill; a son, Levi James Ralston of Chapel Hill; her father, James Arthur Condra; a sister, Cindy (David) Cox of Tullahoma; a niece, Christen Clark and a nephew, Matthew Cox.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.
