Sara (Davenport) Talley, 70, of Manchester passed this life Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was born Feb. 16, 1953 in Shelbyville, TN to the late James R. and Willie (Himes) Davenport.  Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Harold Davenport; and sisters, Dorothy Smith and Evie Buchannan.  Sara enjoyed riding horses, hunting, and fishing with her husband.  Sara’s family was her joy and she loved them will all her heart.

Sara is survived by her husband of 52 years, Anthony Evon Talley; sons, Christopher Talley and Anthony E. Talley II; grandchildren, Tristan Talley, Danika Talley, Toni Talley, and Christopher James “C.J.” Talley; great grandchildren, Clyde Gunn and Ryan Talley; brother, Wayne Davenport; and sisters, Brenda Bogman and Elsie Hale.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the chapel.  Interment will follow at Holland Hill Cemetery.
