A Winchester man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 41A towards Franklin County Saturday morning.  

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s report on the fatality, on Sat, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m., the man, Nathan Norris Kreidenweis, 23, of Winchester, was traveling northbound on US Highway 41A in his 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander and, for unknown reasons per the report, at or about Radio Beam Road his vehicle failed to maintain its lane and crossed into the southbound traffic lane, and collided head-on with a 2021 Nissan Titan driven by Jeffrey Dodson, 55, who was traveling southbound on US Highway 41A.

Dodson and his passenger Kandy Dodson, 46, were injured. There are no pending charges.
