Beechcraft Heritage Museum to be featured in ‘Disney Celebrates America: Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash’

The Beechcraft Heritage Museum at Tullahoma Municipal Airport served as a filming location earlier this month for “Disney Celebrates America: Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash,” a live television event commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Country music superstar Reba McEntire was on site at the museum in early June to film a segment for the special, which will air Saturday, July 4, at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on ABC, Disney+, ESPN App, Freeform, FX, Hulu and National Geographic. McEntire previewed her appearance during a recent interview, hinting at a dramatic aviation-themed entrance for her performance.
“My friends, my family, my fans are so excited, the ones that I’ve told what I’m getting to do,” McEntire said in the interview with WKRN News 2. “Walking to the stage area like I am going to get to do, it’s going to be a thrill for me.”
Producers’ selection of the Beechcraft Heritage Museum reflects the museum’s national reputation as the world’s premier collection of Beech aircraft and its role in preserving American aviation history. The museum, located on the grounds of Tullahoma Municipal Airport, draws aviation enthusiasts and visitors from across the country each year.
“Having a production of this scale choose Tullahoma is a tremendous honor for our community,” said City Administrator Jeff Damron. “It speaks to the unique character of the Beechcraft Heritage Museum, our airport, and it puts a national spotlight on what makes Tullahoma special as we join the country in celebrating America’s 250th birthday.”
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest and broadcast live from downtown Nashville, the three-hour special will feature performances from Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, Nick Jonas, Boyz II Men, Brothers Osborne, Clint Black, Lauren Daigle, Little Big Town, NE-YO and others, accompanied by the Grammy Award-winning Nashville Symphony. The program will also include one of the largest fireworks and drone shows in the United States.
Hundreds of thousands of spectators are expected to gather in person in downtown Nashville, with millions more tuning in nationwide across the broadcast and streaming platforms. Residents and visitors are encouraged to tune in July 4 to see Tullahoma represented on the national stage.
