UT Martin reveals lists of excellence

Kyleigh Hitchcock of Tullahoma has been named to the Spring 2026 Chancellor’s List with Highest Honors at the University of Tennessee at Martin. This distinction recognizes students who have achieved exceptional academic performance during the semester.
Daughter of Jeff and Misty Damron and a 2025 graduate of Tullahoma High School, Kyleigh is pursuing a degree in Health and Human Performance and plans to apply to Physician Assistant school following completion of her undergraduate studies.
In addition to her academic achievements, Kyleigh is a UTM Cheerleader and member of the University of Tennessee at Martin STUNT Team. STUNT is recognized as an NCAA Division I sport, requiring a significant commitment to training, competition, teamwork, and athletic excellence. Kyleigh has successfully balanced the demands of collegiate athletics while maintaining the high academic standards necessary to earn Chancellor’s List Highest Honors.
Since returning home to Tullahoma for summer break, Kyleigh has continued to demonstrate her dedication to a future career in healthcare by successfully completing the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program through NHC Healthcare Tullahoma. This accomplishment provides valuable hands-on patient care experience and represents another important step toward her goal of becoming a Physician Assistant.
Her dedication, discipline, and work ethic have enabled her to excel both in the classroom and as a student-athlete while actively pursuing opportunities to further her healthcare education and experience.
Her accomplishments reflect her determination to serve others and succeed academically, athletically, and professionally as she prepares for a future in the healthcare field. Her family, coaches, teammates, and community are proud of her achievements and look forward to seeing her continued success at UT Martin and beyond.
Along with his honors, three local students were given high honors for their performance at the school. They included:
• Manchester –Abigail N. Gault, Highest Honors.
• Tullahoma – Brandon E. Daniel, High Honors; Kyleigh M. Hitchcock, Highest Honors.
