David Matthew Pless, formerly of Hopkinsville, KY, passed from this life on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN, at the age of 66. Born on November 9, 1959, in Tullahoma, TN, David lived __ _____ _______ ___ ____ _____

faith, devoted service to his country, and unwavering love for his family and his Lord. Growing up in Tullahoma, David attended First Methodist Church as a child, as well as Robert E.

Lee Elementary School and East Junior High School.

He graduated from Tullahoma High School in 1977 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force from September 1981 to July 1988, separating at the rank of _____ __________ ______ __________ ___ _________ _________ medals and awards, including the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Air Force Achievement Medal with one oak leaf cluster. David was extremely proud of and passionate about his military service. He often told his sons, “The greatest honor I ever had was to serve my country.” Following his military service, he answered a higher calling and enrolled at Rhema Bible Training College, graduating in 1992. David returned to Tullahoma and, with the help of his devoted former wife of 17 years, Jacqueline, founded Victory Family Church.

The inaugural service was held on February 13, 1994, and over the course of the next decade, he faithfully preached the Gospel and ministered to many as the Pastor of Victory Family Church. David was a devoted father, son, brother, and uncle. He loved his family deeply and was dearly loved in return by all whose lives he touched. David was preceded in death by his father, ________________________________________________________ Pless. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, _______________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ loved “Uncle David” tremendously.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Kilgore Funeral Home, with a me- ______________________________________________________ ______ ___________ ____ ______ __________ ______ _____ ___ known that he did not want a “sad atmosphere.” Rather, he hoped everyone would rejoice and celebrate his life and the Lord. If you would like, please feel free to wear blue in his honor, as his favorite color was sky blue.
