Richard Duane Fletcher

Richard Fletcher, 75, passed away on September 5, 2026. Born on August 3, 1951, Richard lived a life full of grit, humor, and a love for the open road.
A proud semi-truck driver, Richard spent decades ensuring every load was delivered on time. He took great pride in his work, knowing it provided for his family. After a week on the road, his return home was always a special moment— his wife, Dianne, would be waiting outside, eager to see him pull up.
Richard had a passion for old cars and motorcycles, often spending hours tinkering in the garage or swapping stories with friends. He was a natural jokester whether with friends or complete strangers.
The loss of his beloved wife of 47 years, Dianne Fletcher, was a turning point in his life. Though his health declined in the years that followed, his strength—both physical and in spirit—remained an inspiration to his family.
Richard is survived by his son, Richard Fletcher, and daughter, Kimberly Baer; his daughter-in-law, Sara Fletcher, and son-in-law, John Baer. He has three granddaughters, Kori Baer (Brandon) Schmidt, Hallye and Hollyn Fletcher.
Richard’s parents were Thurman and Wilma Fletcher. Siblings include Wanda Sue Carter, Danny Glen, Terry Lynn, Phylis Ann Rawls, Donnie Lee, Ronnie Ray, and Deborah Kay Reynolds. He will be remembered not only for his hard work and resilience but also for the laughter and light he brought into every room.
