Tullahoma Arts Crawl returns to downtown Oct. 20

Residents and art lovers alike can enjoy an evening of the arts and support local businesses with this year’s Downtown Tullahoma Arts Crawl this Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m.
The annual event showcases various performing and visual artists to celebrate all different disciplines of artistry in the community. This year, over 30 local businesses will transform their businesses into galleries and stages as over 60 artists from all over the region showcase their talent to residents, as local and regional artists will be displaying their work, ranging from vocal and instrumental to watercolor, acrylic, oil, pottery, and so on, and interacting with the public by holding demonstrations and performances of their craft.
While he was accepting a proclamation for National Arts and Humanities Month from the Tullahoma Board of Mayor and Aldermen, Arts Council member Greg Gressel said this year’s Downtown Tullahoma Arts Crawl was bringing the emphasis and focus to downtown Tullahoma, as well as showcasing the art that Tullahoma has to offer.
“We encourage you to come and be part of that,” Gressel said.
Gressel added that at the time of the meeting, the event will have 60 to 75 artists that will display their respective works across downtown, ranging from visual arts to performing arts.
The Arts Council of Tullahoma meets the third Thursday of each month beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Tullahoma City Hall in the first-floor conference room. This meeting is open to the public, and all are invited to attend.
