The third assassination attempt on Trump in two years by a leftist, and the Southern Poverty Law Center’s grand jury indictment for paying the Klan and other remnants of race groups to stage what happened in Charlottesville, tell you all you need to know about the current Democrat Party. Reagan and Trump were shot at. Obama, Biden and Clinton went through no assassination attempts. Bullets are flying in one direction: left to right. None of these Democrats even had known threats, unless you count Hillary’s lamp throwing attempts on Bill Clinton.

Then there was Charlie Kirk. At least the Dems are using more “traditional values shooters” now. Trump’s latest identifi ed as he/him.

Sadly, instead of offering sensible alternative ideas, Democrats just operate on hating Trump and the folks who voted for him. I call them Lib-TDS. Hate is not policy. It is Trump Derangement Syndrome. The Hill reports that “Twenty-six percent of liberals under 45 years old said political violence can sometimes be justified.”

Words used by Democrats and the media calling Trump a racist, fascist, Nazi, pedophile, and a danger to our country have their base wound up on hysterical hate. It informs all they do and causes them to be irrational. It must be exhausting.

Thank the Lord – or Providence – that Trump is still alive. Dems are demoralized, and the DNC is rethinking its opposition to the Second Amendment in favor of suggesting that its members enroll in the NRA to improve their chances next time. Alec Baldwin seems to be the only Democrat who can hit anything from 25 feet.

This latest attempt on Trump saw a liberal Californian check into the Hilton carrying a shotgun, two pistols, and several knives right past security and mentalist Oz Pearlman. He convinced them to let him go by telling them he was a juggler. But Hilton has changed its security protocol now. If you have that many guns and knives, you are not allowed to run in the lobby.

The case for Trump’s White House ballroom was made even clearer. Events at the D.C. Hilton (where Reagan was shot) are not secure.

It was good that the liberal press saw what their rhetoric has wrought. They ducked and ran during the shooting. Only one brave man, CNN’s Brian Stelter, refused to leave until the waiter brought him his doggie bag.

Confusion reigned. When someone yelled “shots,” Pete Hegseth and Kash Patel said, “I’ll have tequila.”

To get to Trump on the dais, the gunman would have had to fight his way through undercover Secret Service at the tables and 2,500 guests. Trump took time to say his blockade idea works.

He was defiant and did not seem afraid; he’s used to it. He has been shot at so many times that even rappers are scared to stand near him. He wanted the dinner to continue. As the Secret Service whisked him offstage, he raised his fist and urged the crowd to “Eat, eat, eat!”

With all the left-wing hate spewed at Trump, the Dems somehow stoke the narrative that the right is hateful and racist. Not finding enough hate, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) had to create it. The lies around Charlottesville that I have pointed out for years came to light. The New York Post had a great headline about donors being scammed, showing a hooded Klansman picture titled “Hoodwinked.”

The SPLC paid the Klan and other fringe white supremacy groups to stage events, saying their people are there to “be on the lookout for racist attackers.” But it turns out they were “Help Wanted” signs for auditions. Race baiting pays; ask Al Sharpton and his ilk. These days you cannot sort laundry without being called a segregationist by the left.

Every bleeding-heart liberal who read To Kill a Mockingbird thinks it is a true picture of the South. They are wrong and are the lawful prey of SPLC.

For years the media quoted the SPLC stats on hate crimes to inform their positions and Joe Biden on race. The numbers were so “massaged” that Eric Swalwell dropped his towel in front of them. Biden said “white supremacy” was our country’s greatest threat.

Race informs all the Dems’ thinking. Rep. Ilhan Omar’s fingerprints are all over the Somali daycare frauds, and she adjusted her net worth filings down $30 million recently. She says any attempt to hold her accountable is “racist.” The good news for her is that she’d get a twofer if arrested. Her one call from jail could be both her husband and brother.

We need to calm the rhetoric. We need to stand behind Trump. It is safer than standing in front of him.
