Bobby Alfred Womble was born on March 16, 1934, in Moore County, TN, to Payton and Eva Patterson Womble. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones in Murfreesboro, TN, on April 29, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Payton and Eva Womble. Also, brothers Walter, Burt, Buford, and Roy, his sisters Arlene Bennett and Floy Parks, and his greatgrandson, Greyson Tucker Shasteen. He is survived by his wife, Betty Womble, daughter Pam Shasteen (Richard), stepson Robert Hensley (Lee Ann), grandson Jackson Shasteen (Taylor), and great-grandson Jettson Shasteen.

A Graveside Service was held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Smith Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with Chris Harris officiating.

Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
