Tullahoma recently had four students and one alternate chosen to represent Tullahoma High School at the Tennessee American Legion Boys and Girls State Programs.

These boys’ delegates are Trenton Brunelle (first photo, third from left), Elijah Montero (middle), and Edward Henry (third from right; alternate). The girls’ delegates are Elise Gleason (front row, left) and Arianna Bryson (front row, right).

The Tennessee American Legion provides students with opportunities to participate in one of the most respected and selective educational programs in government instruction for high school students. This year’s program is interactive, with each delegate participating in education and activities on local, county, and state government.

The 2026 Boys State program took place at Tennessee Tech on May 24-29, while the Girls State Program occurred at Lipscomb University on May 24-31.
