2026 THS football overview: Less than 80 days until kickoff

The Tullahoma High School football team is fewer than 80 days from taking the field for its 2026 regular season. With the recent drop of their 2026 schedule, here is an overview of all of their out-of-conference matchups.
The Tullahoma football team will open up the regular season playing all five of their out -of-conference games, and all five opponents they play will be the same out-of-conference teams they took on last regular season.
The first of these teams they will take on will be Shelbyville Central High School.
Tullahoma in 2025 also opened up their season against the Golden Eagles and won that matchup 35-14. Shelbyville, going into 2026, will be without its workhorse and star running back from 2025, Robert Bailey. They will, however, likely have the same starter from last year at quarterback, Stephen Bobo. If he does get the starting QB nod, it will be his third season
s where he has logged games in the role. He and the Golden Eagles will look to get back and find the same success they had in the 2024 season, where they went 12-2, after finishing 5-6 overall last season.
The second out -of-conference opponent for Tullahoma will be Coffee County Central High School, who they will take on in the highly sought-after Coffee Pot game. It will be the 101st edition of said game.
Tullahoma took home the Coffee Pot Trophy in last year’s 100th edition of the contest, winning by a score of 57-23. The 57 points Tullahoma scored were the highest single-team point total in the history of the game.
The Red Raiders will have their 2025 signal caller, Kayson Lowry, back for his senior season. He has real dual- threat capabilities that give him the potential to impact a game in multiple ways. He accounted for 10 TDs for Coffee County last season– five on the ground and five in the air.
Tullahoma will then take on a 6A school in week three, Cleveland High School.
Tullahoma was able to beat the Raiders and win their third game in a row in 2025, winning 39-20. Not too much stock should be put into the team that took the field for Cleveland last season, as that was one of the worst seasons in their program’s recent history. They went 1-9 overall, which is the worst record they have had in their last five seasons, and was the only losing season they had over that span.
Tullahoma in week four will play White County High School. They are coming off a 24-13 loss to the Warriors in 2025.
White County finished their 2025 campaign with an overall record of 8-4. The Warriors will have back one of their main contributors to their success last year, now senior RB Cole Sims. He rushed for 1,530 yards on 289 carries and had 15 total TDs.
The final out-of-conference foe in the Wildcats 2026 schedule is Nolensville High School. Tullahoma will look to snap a two-game losing streak against the opposing Knights, who are coming off a 27-19 win over the Wildcats in 2025.
The Knights finished last year with an overall record of 8-4. It marked their fourth season in a row where they had a winning record. They will bring back both their starting QB, Ryan Newell, and starting RB Tristen Lithmexay from 2025. They will be without their number one wide receiver, 2026 graduate Oliver Bender. He averaged 71.8 receiving yards per game in six recorded contests.
