Lady ‘Cats beat Rebelettes

Tullahoma cruised to a run rule victory 12-1 over Franklin County Monday.
Big time plays in big moments made the difference for the Lady Wildcats. They came up with timely home runs with runners on base and defensive gems to end scoring opportunities for the Rebels.
Madison Goad led the way at the plate for the ‘Cats, with a display of power. She hit three Home Runs, including two Grand Slams and brought in 10 of the 12 runs for the ‘Cats. Tullahoma showed great plate discipline drawing five walks through four innings, putting runners on base for Goad.
Alazae Griffin was on the mound for the Wildcats. She completed the game, throwing 70 pitches. Griffin worked through some stressful innings like the 1st but she stranded five runners on the bases and only allowed one run.
Tullahoma continued their strong play from last week when they went 4-2 on the week, including two wins on Saturday in Murfreesboro at the Southern Warrior Classic. Their record on the year is now 7-3.
The Lady Wildcats travel to Jasper to play the Marion County Lady Knights Thursday at 6 p.m.
