On Wed, Dec. 21 Tullahoma senior Grant Chadwick signed to the Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders.

Chadwick is a part of the first recruiting class for new head coach Derek Mason. He was a 5-star punter, ranked 11 in the Nation. Chadwick was named a 2023 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Semifinalist. He was selected to all-state and all-region twice.

During his senior year Chadwick averaged 39.2 yards per punt on 37 punts. He had 16 punts downed inside the 20 yard line. Chadwick had a long of 70 yards. He was named Kohl’s National player of the week in week two of the season. Chadwick went 9-of-16 on field goals with a long of 53. He only missed two attempts inside of 47 with one being blocked. Chadwick had 38 touchbacks on 50 kickoffs. He went 25-of-28 on point-after-try kicks, two of the misses were blocked.

On Thu, Dec 22. Chadwick had a gathering in the Tullahoma High School gym to celebrate the signing. Grant was joined by his parents Richie and Cara Chadwick and his brother Justus. Grant will be joining his brother Justus on the MTSU football team. Justus signed as a kicker as a part of the 2022 recruiting class. Grant’s coaches, teammates and friends joined his family in the gym to celebrate this achievement with him.
