The Hands-On Science Center (HOSC) is excited to announce its upcoming fundraiser, “Science of Wine, Brew, and Spirits,” set to take place on Sept. 21. This highly anticipated event offers a unique blend of science, fine beverages, and live entertainment, promising an evening of unforgettable experiences.
Attendees will enjoy a curated selection of wines, craft beers, and spirits, all while exploring the science behind their favorite drinks. The event will feature interactive demonstrations, tastings, and opportunities to engage with local brewers, distillers, and winemakers. Salem Creek, a renowned 5-piece rock band from whiskey country Tennessee, will provide live entertainment, adding to the evening’s festive atmosphere.
Tickets are available in two tiers: Premium tickets at $75 include early admission, participation in the Wine Pull, $25 in Auction Bucks, and more; Regular tickets are priced at $50 and offer general admission to all event activities.
“We are thrilled to bring back ‘Science of Wine, Brew, and Spirits’ for another year,” said Sean Amidon, Executive Director of the Hands-On Science Center. “This event not only supports our educational programs but also provides a fun and engaging way for adults to learn more about the science behind their favorite beverages.”
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit HOSC’s ongoing educational initiatives, helping to ensure that the center continues to provide valuable science experiences to the community.
