Betty Quenelle Collier Obituary
Betty Quenelle Collier, 90, of Tullahoma passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital. Betty was the daughter of the late Albert R. and Ida Downey Quenelle of Anniston, AL. Betty was a graduate of Anniston High School and Auburn University. She was an excellent seamstress and cook, using her skills to serve her church and its outreach programs. Mrs. Collier was also a Girl Scout leader and Sunday school teacher for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael R. Collier, brother, William A. Quenelle, daughter-in-law, Tami I. Collier, brother-in-law, David W. Collier, and sisters-in-law, Jeanne B. Quenelle, Ann M. Quenelle, and Judy S. Collier. She is survived by two sons, Mike Collier of Chattanooga, Steve (André) Collier of Morristown, daughter Carole (Tim) Sharp of Hartselle, Ala.; grandchildren Pete Sharp, Drew Collier, T.J. Wilson, and Brian Sharp; brother-in-law Joe Collier of Arab, AL, and sister-in-law Kathy Collier of Kennesaw, Ga.; nephews Duff (Deb) Quenelle, Jeff and Joey Collier, niece Anne (Terry) Beving; and great-nephew Hunter Campbell.
Visitation with the family will be at Tullahoma Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Graveside service and burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to First Methodist Church of Tullahoma or a charity of your choice.
